Thousands of firefighters continue to battle multiple large wildfires in Colorado. The Aspen Acres fire, southwest of Pueblo, has reached 96,089 acres. The fire is at 14% containment, a number that has not changed much since the weekend.

On Thursday, Colorado Gov. Jared Polis spoke to the community in Pueblo, announcing that federal resources are now available as firefighters continue working to contain multiple wildfires across the state.

Wildfires continue to burn across Colorado, with several smaller fires becoming increasingly contained while larger fires are still growing, with over 100,000 acres burned.
